"Our decision to engage Jake as our general contractor is in the top five best decisions of our lives. We love our home so much. It is beautifully well-built with quality materials and craftsmanship. Not just involving the basics, but in every detail. We tried not to derail Jake from the plans very often, but occasionally, we just realized that we wanted a bench in the shower, or we wanted light switches that you push, not flip. "I am so impressed with this company. Our house is almost done being framed and everyone has gone above and beyond for us, and with a smile! Jake gave us a house on our budget, and a detailed accounting. Then, the excavator was wonderful, and the framers have added like 7 or more changes to the plan without any complaint. They were big changes like adding a wall, taking away another wall, making a room bigger with custom tresses, adding plant shelves.... the list goes on. I'm so impressed. I interviewed like 11 builders before choosing Jake's company and most gave me a certain plan and said take it as it is, or I won't build it. One guy told me that I'm not his kind of customer because I asked for a wall to separate the great room. Just one wall! This company is the best in cedar."
